Entries are now open for the upcoming Fastlane MCC Sprint Enduro at Doon Motoparc, Athlone, Co Westmeath on June 19th. The “Sprint Cross” will headline the first round of the Summer Series of racing and promises to be a cracking day’s racing!
Sprint Racing explained (in a nut shell!): A series of tests (laps) up to 9, completed by each rider individually in a given sequence. The total tests (laps) times are added together with the winner being that of the fastest (lowest) overall time. The event suits both Enduro and Mx riders and there are no bike restrictions or tyre restrictions although excessively noisy exhausts systems will be subject to testing. An average test(lap) time will be 10mins.
Nick Craigie: “It’s far from the perfect date but the first round of the Fastlane summer series will now start on the 19 th June. The Club apologies for the On/Off date program but no matter which date was scheduled it was a problem for the landowner, The MCI or someone else. So the 19th it is to be. The rest of the dates will be finalized and published as soon as is possible.”
***In order to facilitate computer timing, all entries must be pre registered by Thursday 16th June. No ENTRIES can be accepted on the day.
