On a beautiful sunny day with the backdrop of the Blessington lakes nestled in the Wicklow Mountains the riders were treated to a well-marked, well laid out varied lap of 15 minutes for the top Experts and 20 minutes for most. This lap had everything – sand, quarry, grassland, and forest tracks with natural and wide gulleys. Enjoyable for all classed if the forest uphills exposed some roots as the day progressed to make it more challenging.
